Berberine Sulfate is a chemical found in several plants including European barberry, goldenseal, goldthread, Oregon grape, phellodendron, and tree turmeric.
Berberine Sulfate is most commonly taken by mouth for diabetes, high levels of cholesterol or other fats in the blood, and high blood pressure. It is also applied to the skin to treat burns and canker sores.
