Most Favourable Linalool Oil Price
Product name: Linalool Oil |
Linalool is a colorless to very pale yellow liquid with a floral smell similar to that of bergamot oil and French lavender. It is a naturally occurring substance that is used to make fragrances and flavors.
In cosmetics and personal care products, Linalool is used in the formulation of aftershave lotions, bath products, bubble baths, cleansing products, hair care products, lipsticks, moisturizers, perfumes and colognes, shampoos, skin care products and suntan products.
Linalool is a component of many essential oils, including orange, lavender, rose, rosewood, and coriander. The main problem the Cosmetics Database has with linalool is the risk of skin irritation and allergic reactions. Just like limonene, linalool is not a skin allergen in its pure form.
However, when it's oxidized, it can cause allergic reactions/sensitivity at high concentrations. But as long as the essential oil or linalool extractive is pure and fresh, it is not just safe, but beneficial.
1.Linalool is used as a scent in 60% to 80% of perfumed hygiene products and cleaning agents including soaps, detergents, shampoos, and lotions.
2.It is also used as a chemical intermediate. One common downstream product of linalool is vitamin E.
3.In addition, linalool is used by pest professionals as a flea, fruit fly, and cockroach insecticide. It can also be used a method of pest control for codling moths. Linalool creates a synergistic effect with the codling moth's phermone called codlemone, which increases attraction of males.
4.Linalool is used in some mosquito-repellent products;however, the EPA notes that "a preliminary screen of labels for products containing inalool (as the sole active ingredient) indicates that efficacy data on file with the Agency may not support certain claims to repel mosquitos.
