Terpineol is a naturally occurring monoterpene alcohol. This is one of the bulk spices, produced more than thousand tons every year for wide use as flavoring agent and in personal care products such as soaps and synthetic detergents.

Isolated Terpineol can be naturally sourced from pine (Pinus), cajuput (Melaleuca cajuputi), and petitgrain (Citrus aurantium).Terpineol is most often used therapeutically to help manage pain and inflammation, and to reduce the frequency of seizures.
